Brand + Campaign

Rape Crisis South London (RCSL) asked for a much needed rebrand. The work they do is fantastic but the brand felt dated, lost and didn’t reflect the amazing support RCSL does for women in and around London. I was challenged with creating a bold, unapologetic and campaign-able brand that reinforces and reflects the brave people that go to charity for support, as well as the people that the charity relies on.

The heart of this rebrand was about “flipping the script”. We can’t rewrite the past but we can take ownership of it - and I wanted to overtly represent this with crossing out negative words and underlining hopeful positive words.

The feedback was incredible. The charity resonated with this route so well and immediately started rolling out the brand internally, organised photoshoots and started planning campaigns.
